THEODORE J. SCHMIDT / Co-Counsel

Attorney Schmidt  is a founding member of Schmidt Salzman & Moran, Ltd. After representing Cook County in the State’s Attorney Office for three years in property tax matters, he entered private practice concentrating in real estate taxation, an area to which Mr. Schmidt has devoted his practice over the past 35 years. Mr. Schmidt has guided the firm to remain at the forefront of property tax relief for its many clients, including public and private office, retail and hospitality focused owners and developers, national corporate retail and restaurant owners and net lessees, office and industrial developers, national and local manufacturers and operators of storage and distribution facilities, and residential care providers, multi-unit housing developers and residential condominium associations and cooperative boards.

Mr. Schmidt’s service to the community has included 10 years membership on the Advisory Board and serving as Chairman of the Rush University Medical Center/Neuro-Behavioral Center, and as a member the Glen Ellyn Children’s Chorus Board of Directors, and member of The Avery Coonley School Board of Trustees.
